Five biology scholars from the 2023 cohort traveled to Washington, DC with mentor Dr. Darcy Ernst to participate in the first annual National Science Foundation S-STEM Scholars meeting!
We had a wonderful time networking with other students and professors in S-STEM programs across the country and attending inspiring keynote presentations and workshops. We also got to explore our nation's capitol, with field trips to Smithsonian museums, the White House, the Capitol, and other historical and cultural sites.
